Living Walls a non-profit | a work in progress

Objective

To help Living Walls be more accessible.

The Figma file below shows where I started this project. I took screenshots of the whole site and then annotated all areas which are not accessible and offer opportunities of how to update the site.

Strategy

To create a quick fix solution so that Living Walls becomes more accessible. Then to iterate on where they are and create multiple accessible solutions to consider.

I asked Tatiana to give me some idea of sites she likes and to share what she likes about them. It could be the navigation, or the layout, or the bells and whistles and I will honor those ideas in the new solutions.

I created some mood boards and hoping to get some feedback from her on what type of vibe she wants to replicate. Stay tuned on where we go from here …

Some Initial Options

Option 1 layout. Video below the top navigation and artistic layout for featuring recent work and contests. Donate and stay in touch follow. Ends with a thank you to sponsors and footer.
Option 2 featuring a video under the top navigation and bright bold colors as you scroll down. A triptych of featured items and the donate/stay in touch below that with the thanks and footer ending the scroll.
Option 3 layout. Video with side sheet of the "about us", followed by a triptych of features and followed by the donate/stay in touch. Ends with the thanks and footer. Colors are bright warm colors.
Option 4. Lots of peaches/pinks with a play on the logo used for the imagery and pulling in more oranges and warm peaches. Donate/stay in touch flow down into the special thanks and footer.
