This was a costume design for an art opening, “I Fucking L*** You Too,” in Atlanta, Ga. I designed, created, and modeled the costume in the theme of a Valentine’s Day satire and pink. To view more: Bleeding Heart Photos

My first delve into the colored pencil world! So much fun to play with the electric colors of Prisma Color Premier Lightfast Pencils!

Everyone needs a little something to spice up their door - especially, when you live in a place where all the doors look the same. This is my design creation for the Fall season. Each piece of cardboard was individually cut and glued to produce the tree effect; then styled with Fall Owls and Lanterns.

I staged a baby shower design in the theme of purple butterflies and earthy color tones. For more information: Lusca Baby Shower Photos

I staged a Fall theme design for a local salon, “Artistry,” in Buckhead, Ga. My hand-made crepe paper fall flowers were inspired by a recent trip to a local farm during the changing of the seasons. For more Information: Artistry Salon in Fall

Nothing I do is ever on a small scale; the same is true for my version of Thanksgiving when I was asked to host the family. I hand-made most of the design work and then staged the rest. To see more photos: "Alice in Wonderland" Thanksgiving Photos

In collaboration with another designer, we staged a “Southern Coastal” theme for a local festival, “Taste of Atlanta,” in Atlanta, Ga. I hand made the birds and then staged the bulk of the design with the help of my fellow designer. For more Information: Taste of Atlanta: Southern Coastal

In collaboration with another designer, we built an entire set for a local festival, “The Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival,” in Atlanta, Ga. It is an annual event put on by restauranteur, Ford Fry; though, this particular year was well-remembered above the others. My pride was a 10ft. bi-plane that I built completely out of cardboard and glue that hung from the main atrium ceiling. To see the plane and more photos of the event: Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival

I love to play with free materials and see what others do not see. I had my heart set on making a 3D dandelion, and when a package arrived with a bunch of cut up cardboard, I knew I had found my main material. I built this to hang on a wall, so that the other side is flat and flush. Then, I added little dandelion pieces flying away from the plant all around the wall. It was just the perfect solution to building what I saw in my head!

I always wanted to throw a party for Halloween, since it is the most fun holiday to stage and decorate. Heavily influenced by my love of imagined and whimsical things, I built an entire set in my home with a creepy rustic Halloween feel which gave a healthy nod to “Alice Through the Looking Glass.” Most elements were hand-made, though some were bought and staged. Sometimes, the most simple designs are the best ones. This baby photo shoot was so much fun to stage! She was such a sweet and beautiful model and it was a delight to work with her. For additional photos: Baby Photo Styling
