Current LRO Table Layout
The Problem
Our users find the LRO Table to be difficult to understand and to manipulate to the filters they desire.
User Feedback
“I feel the homepage real estate is not efficiently used. Too much scrolling. ”
“It would be nice to be able to select a category from the summary page on the LRO by investments by grade”
Considerations From Our Team
Only show 20 loans (maybe the use of pagination)
Users are confused about Rate (use annualized or yearly terms)
Remaining is used too often
Should we get rid of days remaining?
Remaining term needs more context
Do we need valuation? It’s confusing users
Since loans are deferred we may not need the Payment schedule column
Number of investors can be eliminated being that it shows that on the loan detail page.
Adding in a filter or ‘sort by’ (borrower, state, judicial, etc)
Showcasing the most important loans
Users being able to save filter (connect their filters to their email)
Users care about Rate, Remaining Term, and how much a loan is
While we are here - why not? Navigation update proposal implemented!
A behind the scenes look at all the new bells and whistles added to the LRO Table. Video version below.
I’d have to say this is one of my favorite projects due to how incredibly complex the ask was and how drastic the product changed by the end of the proposal. We even defined better global and account-level navigation as we iterated through all future possibilities.
